Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Hours per Week: 40
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Onsite: 100% onsite
- Call: Shared call coverage, including weekday evenings and weekend coverage
Role Summary
- Perform general radiographic imaging in the department and with mobile x-ray units
- Assist with fluoroscopy
- Assist in teaching radiology students
- Prepare charge slips and other required records
- Support specialized interventional radiology procedures under supervision
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Illinois
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- ARRT
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Illinois Radiography Accreditation
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of equipment used in Interventional Radiology
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly and accurately to problem situations

- Driver’s license or state ID required
- 2 references required
- Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment
- Employment gaps longer than 30 days must be explained
- Skills checklist required for the traveler’s unit and any units floated to
- Work history verification covering 7 years of employment
- Background check required
- Drug screen required
- Physical exam required
- Fit mask testing required
- TB screening required
- Tdap required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
- Facility orientation modules must be completed before start
- Photo for badge required
Schedule Notes
- Weekday call runs from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM the following day
- Weekend call runs from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
- Call is shared with other techs
