Case Manager

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Burlington, North Carolina
  • Day shift, Monday–Friday
  • 5x8 schedule, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Acute Care Case Management (2 years of experience)
  • Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in Charge roles
  • Experience with discharge planning, needs assessment, ordering DME, and developing plans of care
  • Experience with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) regulatory requirements
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
  • Med Surg experience
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
  • Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

  • Candidate must be flexible with scheduling
  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Compliance deadline is 12 noon EST on the Wednesday before start
  • First-time travelers are not accepted

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
