Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Columbia, South Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
- Weekly hours: 40
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Shift start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9:00 AM
- Call coverage: Weekends are supported by rotating call among 6 to 8 staff members; after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, primary and backup call techs support coverage
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Note: Neuro experience is needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Additional Pre-Start Requirements
- Driver’s license or state ID required for computer access and must be carried while on duty
- E-Verify or attestation
- Background check covering the last 7 years
- OFAC sanctions list search
- EPLS/GSA/SAM search within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter
- HHS/OIG search within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask / respirator fit test completed onsite during orientation
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- TB questionnaire annually
- Drug screen within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption
Testing and Training
- Pre-assignment testing must be completed within 72 hours of receiving the testing information
- Online orientation modules must be completed within 72 hours of assignment
- Pass/fail testing is required before orientation
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam is required for positions that dispense medication
- Competency exam is required annually
- Core training parts I, II, and III are required annually
- CMS site documents must be read and signed
Facility Notes
- Badge photo required
- Floating policy must be signed
- Contractor acknowledgment must be signed within 24 hours of signing the contract
