- Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- Weekly hours: 36
- Unit size / census: 25-bed unit; average daily census 23
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: May float to other Medical Surgical units
- First-time travelers: Accepted
- Locals: Accepted
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Heparin medication administration experience
- Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management experience
- Renal failure patient care experience
- Blood Product Administration experience
- Central line blood draw experience
- Peripheral Line Care/Management experience
- PICC line management experience
- Chest tube management (Emerson/Pleur-evac) experience
- CPAP/BiPAP experience
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) experience
- Experience with Cerner
Additional Notes
- On-call not required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated but is not guaranteed
- RTO ideally no more than 5 days
- Cerner experience required
- Any solid color scrubs permitted
- Parking permit required, no cost
