Speech Pathologist
Location: Newport, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Days, 0800–1430; no weekends
Hours per Week: 32
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Overview
Provide speech-language pathology and dysphagia services, including evaluation, treatment, and patient/family education for communication and swallowing needs. The role supports adult patients in acute and outpatient settings and requires travel to multiple points of care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Oregon
- Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
- Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Certificate of Clinical Compliance from the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognition needs
- Communicate professionally with patients, families/caregivers, and team members
- Support teamwork within the rehabilitation setting
