Job Overview

- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Patient population: Pediatric, NICU, PICU, and CVICU
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (2 years of experience)
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Two fingerprinting processes are required before start
- Background check required before start
- Transcript or diploma required
- Pre-employment physical within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months of start
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation
- Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Online training modules must be completed before orientation
- Badge pickup required before start
- I-9/E-Verify attestation required
- Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
Work Expectations
- May float to nearby pediatric and NICU locations
- All work history must be included in the profile
- Scheduling and requested time off must be communicated during submission and interview
