Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse
Location
- Augusta, Georgia
Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 14-week assignment
- Day shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- Adults to geriatrics patient population
- 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- 19-bed unit with average daily census of 15
- Every other weekend required
- No call
- Floating required within the facility and possibly to another nearby site
- Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- OCN
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Hematology experience
- Experience with Epic
- Full compliance required before start
- Photo ID required
- Background check required before start
- Education verification required
- Work history verification required
- 2 clinical references required
- Skills checklist required
- Color blind testing required
- Negative 10-panel drug screen required
- TB questionnaire required
- Physical exam required
- Flu vaccination or declination required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required

- Navy blue scrubs
