Job Overview

  • Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri

  • Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours
  • Weekly Hours: 40
  • Schedule Notes: Weekday shifts with rotating weekend, weekday, and holiday call
  • Radius Rule: 75-mile radius

Required Qualifications

  • CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Permanent license in hand at submission; temporary licenses are not accepted
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • National tech certification verification required within 30 days of start

Clinical Expectations

  • Must be proficient in scrubbing CVOR, vascular, and hybrid cases
  • Must also be able to scrub other cases when not assigned to CVOR/vascular

Compliance and Onboarding

  • Background check and education verification required
  • State-specific Missouri search required
  • NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start
  • Pass/fail testing is administered onsite
  • Color blind testing required
  • Physical exam required within 1 year of start
  • Mask fit test required within 12 months of start
  • Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
  • Annual TB questionnaire required
  • Drug screen required within 30 days of start
  • Influenza vaccination or approved exemption documentation required for the current flu season
  • 2 professional references required
  • Employment application required
  • Annual skills checklist required
  • E-learning completion and transcript required for clearance
  • Photo for badge required

Additional Health Documentation

  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
  • Tdap required for NICU and Family Birthplace placements

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
