Radiation Therapist

Job Overview

  • Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Schedule: No weekends or holidays
  • Setting: Radiation therapy unit
  • Patient population note: May care for COVID-19 patients

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiation Therapist license in Pennsylvania
  • 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience
  • Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
  • ARRT
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience with Epic

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

  • Clinical pre-screen and manager interview required
  • Maximum time off requested: 7 days
  • Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility
  • 2 professional references within 3 years of start
  • Most recent resume/application required
  • Skills checklist required annually
  • Education verification required
  • Background check, fingerprinting, child abuse search, PATCH search, and Medicheck search required
  • Drug test required
  • Fit testing required for patient-facing candidates
  • Physical exam and medical statement required within 90 days of start
  • TB screening, Tdap, MMR, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, and COVID-19 documentation required
  • Facility documents and acknowledgements must be completed before start

Notes for Candidates

  • This is a day-shift assignment with no call, weekends, or holidays
  • The facility is tobacco- and fragrance-free
  • Compliance items may need to be completed before start, including some state-specific checks and health documentation

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
