Job Overview

  • Travel RN position in Lander, Wyoming
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Wyoming
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • Women's Services experience
  • Post Partum experience
  • OB/GYN experience
  • LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP issued by American Heart Association
  • STABLE
  • AWHONN

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living
  • Coordinate care across disciplines, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support
  • Educate patients and families based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances
  • Support physical and emotional well-being as a patient advocate
  • Assist with C-sections, deliveries, neonatal assessment, and recovery care for surgical patients

Additional Notes

  • May be required to float to another unit as helping hands or sitter depending on census
  • Fetal monitoring certification classes are attended every two years
  • STABLE certification class attendance is expected if offered and NRP certified

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
