Schedule
- 3x12-hour day/night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Weekdays and some weekends
- Rotating holidays required
Unit Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with lower-acuity cardiac patients
- Patient ratio: 1:3–4
- Cardiac experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Required Skills / Experience
- IV starts
- Telemetry
- Conscious sedation
- EPIC experience
Responsibilities
- Provide care for lower-acuity cardiac patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions
- Administer medications
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
- Float to different units as needed, including units of similar or lower acuity
