Pharmacist Inpatient
Job Overview
- Specialty: Pharmacy
- Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: 5x8 rotating shifts, weekdays with some weekends; every 3rd weekend. Overnight rotation is 7 nights on, 7 nights off.
- Shift options: Day, evening, and overnight shifts
- Contract length: 21 weeks
- Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Virginia
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist
- Recent Pharmacist experience within the last year
- Experience in an Inpatient setting
- IV admixture/IV pharmacy experience
- Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) experience
- Antibiotic management
- Experience with Epic
Required Skills

- Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered
- Submission must include a completed cover sheet, current NURSYS report, and all requested time off
- Required pre-start items include a government-issued photo ID, completed job description form, physical exam statement, fit test, negative TB documentation, drug screen, references, skills checklist, and other standard onboarding documents and health records
