Travel/Contract Registered Nurse Job in Ohio

Overview

Specialty: Medical-surgical / telemetry
Location: Ontario, Ohio
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Typical staffing ratio: 1:5

Key Job Expectations

Willingness to float to other campuses if census drops to maintain hours
Call required; must be able to return to the facility within 1 hour when called
Every other weekend required
Minimal or no requested time off preferred
Knowledge of medication scanning required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
Experience in an Acute Care setting
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is required
No first-time travelers accepted

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
