Operating Room Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM
- 40 hours per week
- May float to other surgical services areas
- Call is typically once per week, with holiday rotation and possible weekend call coverage
- Patient population includes women ages 12 and up
- Ratio: 1:1
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Experience
- Circulating experience
- Robotics training preferred
Unit Details
- GYN surgical procedures include therapeutic abortions, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, D&C, endometriosis treatment, sacrocolpopexy, pelvic procedures, bladder slings, cystoscopes, bulkamid, interstim, exploratory laparotomy, cold knife cones, and LEEP procedures
- No oncology cases
- Da Vinci, NovaSure, and MyoSure equipment used
Additional Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed
- Scrubs are provided
