Registered Nurse — IMC
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Maryland
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
- 48 hours per week
- Float pool assignment with movement from Med/Surg units to IMC units
- Must be comfortable with 1:4–1:6 patient ratios
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS issued by American Heart Association or APEX
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with Epic
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Flu vaccination required
- 2-step PPD required
- 2 clinical references required
- Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 1 year of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- TB clearance required within 1 year of start
- Proof of measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination/declination as specified in the source
Additional Notes
- Candidates may care for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, trauma, and stroke
- Locals are not accepted
