Cath Lab Tech
Job Overview

Schedule & Work Expectations
- Work may extend past the scheduled end time until procedures are complete.
- On-call is required, including one weekend per month plus one call shift and one evening shift each week.
- Holidays as needed.
- No floating between service lines or to sister facilities.
- Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs.
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT or RCIS
- Proficiency in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor
Additional Requirements
- Radiation badge required and must be provided by the agency
- Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
- All requested time off must be included at submission
Compliance / Pre-Start Items
- Proof of 2 clinical references, with at least one from the same unit
- Annual background check covering the past 7 years
- Education verification required
- Employment application/resume required
- Work history verification for clinical employers
- Physical exam within 90 days of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Respirator safety clearance
- COVID vaccination documentation or declination if not vaccinated
- Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption during flu season
- Copy of driver’s license/state ID
- Copy of Social Security card
- E-Verify attestation
- Photo for badge
- Orientation and facility-specific onboarding documents must be completed before start
