Schedule / Work Conditions
- 16 hours per day
- Approximately 9 patients per shift
- Works with another tech aide or MRI tech/traveler; does not work solo
- After midnight, the department is covered by call
- Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
- Must be willing to take call as needed
- Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:
- Thanksgiving Day, Friday after, and the weekend after
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after
- New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- GE Equipment experience
Documentation / Submission Requirements
- Work history
- Skills checklist current to 1 year
- 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment
- Any requested time off must be included at submission
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
Additional Notes
- Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Travelers without voicemail set up may be redirected
