ICU RN Travel Contract
Location
- Bowling Green, Kentucky
Schedule
- Night shift
- 3x12-hour shifts
- 19:00 to 07:00
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Details
- Neuro ICU
- May float to stepdown with a 1:4 ratio
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (9 months of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- At least 9 months of total travel experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Stroke experience
- Bedside dysphagia screening competency
Preferred Qualifications
- CRRT experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a certified stroke center critical care unit
- Meditech experience
Clinical Competencies
- Stroke signs and symptoms competency, including BE-FAST
- Bedside dysphagia screening competency
- Familiarity with current stroke guidelines and performance measures for acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes
- IV-tPA administration and post-tPA monitoring competency
Additional Notes
- 65-mile radius restriction
- Local travelers are accepted at a lower rate
