Interventional Radiology RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Georgia
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Patient population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
- Setting: Interventional Radiology RN
- Workload: 4 rooms; average daily census of 25
- Call is rotated among the team
- Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice
- Every third weekend required, with no more than 2 weekends per month
- Major holidays may be required based on assignment timing
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Interventional Radiology experience with 1 year of experience
- Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Stroke thrombectomy experience
- Experience with Epic
Additional Requirements
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Full compliance is required before start
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off
- Photo ID required
- Background check required and must be complete before start
- Education verification required
- Skills checklist required within 12 months and updated annually
- Work history verification required
- 2 clinical references required
- Color blind testing required
- Physical exam required within 12 months of start
- TB questionnaire required
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 12 months of start
- Drug screen required within 60 days of start
- Flu vaccination or declination required
- Review and sign code of conduct and dress/professional appearance policy before start

- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length
