MRI Tech
Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 4x10 hours
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday
- Contract length: 14 weeks
- Start flexibility: First-time travelers accepted
Work Setting
- Inpatient and outpatient settings
- Performs CT scans on IP, ER, and OP patients
- Uses Siemens and Philips CT scanners
- Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
- Average caseload is 12–24 per day across 4 rooms
- Floating may be required within facility/scope of practice
- Up to 4 on-call days may be assigned with 2 weeks’ notice
- Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
- Major holidays may be required based on assignment timing
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist (3 years of experience)
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- CT Technologist experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT (CT)
- Ability to start peripheral IVs independently
Additional Notes
- Scrub color: Gray
- RTO maximum: 7 days
- Clinical screening may be used to determine fit
