Ultrasound Tech - General
Job Overview
- Travel/contract assignment in New Haven, Connecticut
- 8-week duration
- Night shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
- First-time travelers accepted
- Floating to sister facilities may be required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Guaranteed hours
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARDMS
- RVT
- Experience with PHILLIPS ultrasound equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- ARDMS OB certification
Schedule / Work Expectations
- No on-call requirement
- RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
Compliance / Onboarding
- Photo ID matching legal name required on first day
- Background check and education verification required
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test within 12 months of start and updated annually
- TB questionnaire required annually
- Drug screen required within 12 months of start
- Employment history must cover the last 7 years with no gaps greater than 90 days
- Work history verification required for the last 7 years for start dates on or after 8/2/2024
- Prior radiation exposure attestation required for Ultrasound Tech candidates
