Description

Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Setting: Long-term care / rehab
Employment type: Temp

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Massachusetts
  • Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
  • Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
  • CCC
  • Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting

Experience Notes

  • New graduates are acceptable if they have Level II experience; Level I observation experience is not sufficient

Role Summary

  • Screens, evaluates, and treats patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
  • Develops and adjusts plans of care based on patient progress and outcomes
  • Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
  • Communicates patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans with the care team
  • Completes discharge summaries and required clinical documentation
  • Participates in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
  • May supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
