Pharmacist Inpatient
Job Overview
- Specialty: Pharmacy
- Location: Kingman, Arizona
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts, rotating between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: None
- Orientation: Every Monday
- First-time travelers: Accepted
- Local candidates: Accepted at the same rate as first-time travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid Hospital Pharmacist license in Arizona
- Hospital Pharmacist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Hospital Pharmacist experience
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- IV Admixture Certification
- Sterile Compounding Certification
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
- Meditech experience preferred
Work Environment
- Hospital census: 130–150 patients per day
- Dress code: Business casual
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
- HHS/OIG screening
- Transcript or diploma
- Education verification
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Clear passport-style photo for badge
- Facility-specific onboarding forms and training documents
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Immunization or immunity documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
- Drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Two references within 3 years of start
- Annual skills checklist

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
