Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post-operative open heart care experience
- Chest tube and other drain management experience
- Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips and recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
- Experience assisting with chest tube removal
- Experience assisting with removal of pericardial pacing wires
- Management of temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices
- Use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices
- High-flow oxygen and other oxygen delivery systems experience
