Physical Therapist

Job Overview

  • Contract role in Big Sky, Montana
  • Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapy
  • Schedule: Days only, 5x8s, typically 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
  • Hours per week: 40
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Montana
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Experience

  • Two years of physical therapy experience

Schedule / Work Expectations

  • Regular and sustained attendance is required
  • May require work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
  • On-call work may be required

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and establish/implement a plan of care based on findings
  • Document evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment, education, and discharge summaries
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pain management, safety, function, and the individualized plan of care
  • Identify and address patient safety issues

Work Environment / Physical Demands

  • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Repeated standing, walking, twisting/bending/stooping/kneeling, reaching above shoulder level, and pushing/pulling
  • Continuous fine-finger movements, visual acuity, cognitive focus, and exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, chemicals, medications, radiation, and emotionally challenging situations

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
