MRI Technologist
Location: Petoskey, Michigan
Employment Type: Temp
Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of MRI Technologist experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Geriatric patients
Job Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies
- Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns
- Operate and maintain assigned ultrasound scanning equipment
- Position patients, select transducers and machine settings, and conduct scanning procedures
- Complete quality assurance processes and follow radiation safety practices
- Maintain required documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records
- Maintain adequate supplies of consumables
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and function checks
- Assist other areas of radiology as assigned
Additional Notes
- Travel experience is preferred
- Royal blue or red scrubs are required
