Role Summary
This role oversees patient care operations for Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and OB units on a 24-hour basis, including nursing staff supervision, clinical and personnel management, budgeting, and quality service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- EFM
- NIHSS
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Experience in Charge roles
- Antepartum experience
- Post Partum experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Bilingual
Schedule Notes
- Weekends as needed
- No more than 1 weekend shift per month
