Overview
- Location: West Burlington, Iowa
- Employment type: Long-term assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
Role Summary
- Provides nursing care in a medical care unit with less acute patients who may be awaiting placement to long-term care.
- The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab, and the nurse may float between both units.
- Patient populations include geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years of telemetry experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Experience
- Telemetry experience preferred
On-Assignment Expectations
- May occasionally be placed on call during low census periods
- If called in, must be able to arrive on-site within one hour
