Job Overview

Unit Details
- Adult and geriatric patients
- Common diagnoses include oncologic emergencies, COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, gastrointestinal bleed, neuromuscular disease, drug overdose, consequences of oncologic treatment, pulmonary hypertension, autoimmune disorders, and sepsis
- Common treatments and procedures include mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, arterial pressure monitoring, cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, central venous catheters, chemotherapy administration, complex medication regimens, clinical trials, plasmapheresis, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
