Ultrasound / Echo Technologist
Location
Fort Madison, Iowa
Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Hybrid role
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Role Overview
- This position requires experience in both ultrasound technology and echocardiography.
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic ultrasound studies and adult echocardiography.
- Ultrasound work includes abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and small parts sonography, as well as Doppler, ABI, and segmental pressure exams.
- Echo work includes contrast and saline bubble studies, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography, and testing performed according to established protocols and accreditation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Applied Science or a related field
- RDCS
- Echo Technician experience within the last year
- 2 years of Echo Technician experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience
- Driver's License
Onboarding Requirements
- BLS certification
- Current driver’s license or state ID
- Education verification
- Background check
- Drug screen
- Skills checklist
- References: 2 professional references, including 1 supervisor reference
- Resume or profile
Additional Notes
- Basic computer skills and PACS knowledge are needed.
- The role requires the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional patient care and customer service are expected.
