Cath Lab Tech

Job Overview

  • Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • Hours per week: 40

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Maryland
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • ARRT or RCIS
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • On-call availability

Preferred Experience

  • Structural heart experience preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of E-Verify or attestation
  • 7-year criminal background check
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check
  • HHS/OIG check
  • Transcript/diploma or education verification showing highest degree completed
  • Fingerprinting completed in Maryland, with results available before start
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit test within 12 months of start and updated annually
  • Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years
  • Negative TB screening or chest x-ray
  • Positive titer or vaccination documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
  • 11-panel drug screen including cotinine/nicotine and marijuana
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • Eye exam within 6 months of start and repeated annually
  • Color blind exam within 5 years of start
  • 2 clinical references
  • Employment application/resume
  • Skills checklist for the applicable unit
  • Radiation exposure attestation for applicable radiology-related assignments

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
