Role Summary
- Critical care / cardiac critical care background required
- Open heart recovery experience required
- Post-cardiac procedure recovery experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIH Certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Background in Critical Care
- Background in Cardiac Critical Care
- Open heart recovery experience
- Post cardiac procedure recovery experience
Onboarding / Compliance Requirements
- Signed assignment agreement
- Pharmacology exam with a minimum score of 80%
- Specialty exam with a minimum score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score
- Core competencies exam with a minimum score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score
- EKG exam with a passing score of at least 80%
- Color vision screening
- Nursing onboarding education attestation
- Nursing contract worker onboarding completion onsite
