Operating Room Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Dallas, Texas
- 6-week assignment
- ASAP start
- Local candidates accepted
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- No on-call required
- No weekend requirement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Proficiency in Spine
- Orthopedics experience
Compliance and Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Annual fit test
- Tdap within the last 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Measles immunity by 2 vaccines or positive titer
- Mumps immunity by 2 vaccines or positive titer
- Rubella immunity by 2 vaccines or positive titer
- Varicella immunity by 2 vaccines or positive titer
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days prior to start
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season

- Badge acknowledgement form
- Photo release consent form
- Security and confidentiality agreement
- Medical surgical JD and eval form for medical surgical placements
- Vaccine medical exemption form, if seeking medical exemption
