Nurse Manager
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Chicago, Illinois
- Day shift: 5x8s, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Weekends as needed, with no more than 1 weekend shift per month
- 24/7 accountability
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Oversees daily operations, patient care quality, and staff for neonatal intensive care, PICU, and pediatrics
- Responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, budgeting, policy development, compliance, and supporting care for critically ill pediatric patients and their families
- Works closely with neonatologists, pediatric specialists, and other staff
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
- Manager experience (2 years)
- Manager experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Bilingual
