Description

Registered Nurse — BMT/Oncology

Location

Aurora, Colorado

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

  • Rotating shifts
  • 3x12 hours
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekend coverage required per unit needs

Setting

  • 51-bed unit
  • Care for patients with blood cancers receiving chemo/biotherapies and cellular therapies, including stem cell transplants and CAR-T
  • Floating required between BMT/Oncology and CTU units
  • May also float to sister facilities in the metro region based on facility needs

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Oncology (2 years of experience)
  • Oncology experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Chemotherapy administration experience
  • Bone Marrow Transplant experience

  • First-time travelers not accepted
  • Epic charting
  • Navy scrubs
  • Up to 10 RTO days approved
  • RTO not allowed during these date ranges:
    • September 2–12, 2026
    • October 25–November 4, 2026
    • November 22–December 2, 2026
    • December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
