Labor and Delivery RN
Location
- Bend, Oregon
Contract
- Travel/contract assignment
- 8 weeks
- Night shift: 3x12, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Weekend coverage required: every other weekend or 8 weekend shifts
- Floating may be required within scope, including to a northern campus low-risk family birthing unit
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius
- No on-call requirement
- RTO limit: 7 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Post Partum experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- AWHONN Intermediate
- FHM
Preferred
- Epic experience
Compliance and onboarding requirements
- Diploma or transcript on file
- Education verification at highest level
- 7-year criminal background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Photo for badge
- Signed confidentiality, access, compliance, privacy, and emergency contact documents
- Physical exam
- Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation
- Negative 12-panel drug screen
- Flu vaccination or declination/exemption during flu season
- COVID vaccination record if previously vaccinated, or declination/exemption if never vaccinated
- Respiratory safety clearance
- Annual skills checklist
