Cath Lab Tech

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Anchorage, Alaska
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist experience with 2 years of experience
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
ARRT (R) or RCIS
Neuro Experience
Electrophysiology Technician experience
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
Vascular Technologist experience

Schedule and Assignment Details

On-call: 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend
Some Saturdays are required as part of the regular schedule
May float within scope to IR and EP
Block scheduling is not available
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Notes

Time off is approved individually after offer; only 1 time-off request is allowed per 13-week assignment
Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks, with up to 1 ten-hour shift canceled per 2 weeks
Scrubs are provided
Parking is free

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
