Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Northfield, Minnesota
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association

Required Certifications

Basic Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Workplace Violence education

Required Documents and Compliance

Government-issued photo ID
Emergency contact form before start
Photo for badge before start
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask completed within 12 months
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
TB questionnaire
Drug screen within 1 year of start
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
COVID-19 religious exemption request if applicable
Proof of immunity or acceptable documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprint clearance before start

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
