Operating Room Nurse
Job Overview
- Location: Aurora, Colorado
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- Weekly hours: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit: Operating room in a Level 1 trauma center
- Schedule: Saturday/Sunday plus one weekday; weekday varies based on staffing needs
- Floating: May float to other operating room units within scope
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 3 years of operating room experience
- Operating room experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
Additional Job Details
- 1:1 ratio
- General, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastic cases
- No on-call requirement
- Guaranteed hours: No
- RTO limit: 10 days maximum approved
- RTO not allowed during:
- June 28–July 9, 2026
- September 2–September 12, 2026
- October 25–November 4, 2026
Compliance and Onboarding
- References: 2 required from the last 2 years; one must be from employment within the last year
- Background check, education verification, drug testing, physical exam, fit test, TB screening, immunization documentation, and annual competency/compliance items are required before start
- Facility-specific modules must be completed within the first 2 weeks of assignment

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
