Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 2–3 years of experience in the specialty
- Must be within a 75-mile radius of the address on the traveler’s driver’s license
Job Details
- Operating room has 19 suites
- Average caseload is 55–60 cases per day
- One-week floor-specific orientation
- Weekend coverage is approximately once per quarter
- Call may be required, with a 30-minute response time
- Holidays are rotated with permanent staff
- Scrubbing is not required for RNs, but is preferred
- Travelers should be reliable, punctual, flexible, and able to work across most service lines
- Basic competency is expected in nearly every service
- Main OR does not handle major pediatrics, transplants, or C-sections
- The facility functions as a level 2 trauma center and includes some ortho/neuro trauma and robotics
