Cath Lab RN Travel/Contract Job

Overview

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse

  • Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours
  • Hours per week: 40

Schedule

  • This role uses variable scheduling.
  • The shift times rotate between 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and 7:30 AM–6:00 PM.
  • The schedule includes weekday and Sunday coverage, plus call and late-stay shifts.
  • For a 26-week assignment, travelers must work two of the three major holidays and should not request time off from December 26–31.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • State license verification
  • NURSYS verification
  • Pass/Fail testing for EKG/Medication
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
  • CMS site documents attestation
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB screening within 90 days of start
  • Drug screen within 1 year of start
  • Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption
  • Employment application with 7-year work history
  • Background check
  • Education verification
  • OFAC sanctions list search
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM search
  • HHS/OIG search
  • Photo for badge

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
