Role Details
- Outpatient lymphedema-focused occupational therapy role in a hospital-based rehab setting.
- Works regularly with OT/OTA, PT/PTA, and SLP colleagues, plus wound care support and lymphedema vendors.
- Patient population includes young adults through geriatrics with mixed diagnoses, including lymphedema care.
- Floating may be required within the facility/scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Georgia
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- NBCOT
Schedule and Assignment Expectations
- Weekends: none
- Call: none
- Scheduling is flexible; 5x8s are posted, and 4x10s are also available.
- Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed.
- Must work major holidays that fall during the assignment, per facility policy.
Compliance and Start Requirements
- Full compliance is required to start on time.
- Background check must be complete before start.
- Education verification is required and may be pending at start if proof it is in process.
- Work history verification of the most recent employer is required and may be pending at start if proof it is in process.
- Skills checklist must be current within 12 months.
- Photo ID is required.
- Physical exam is required by the staffing agency.
- TB screening and TB questionnaire are required.
- Flu vaccination or declination is required.
- Drug screen is required.
- References are required by the staffing agency.
