Registered Nurse — Emergency Room

Assignment Overview

Travel/contract role in Colorado
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Scheduled hours: 36 per week
Shift options: Day, 3x12 hours (6:00–18:00) or Day, 3x12 hours (11:00–23:00)
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Floating: not required
Average daily census: 17–18

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ENPC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Critical access experience

Schedule Notes

Monthly on-call shifts
2 call shifts per month
On-call coverage may be days or nights depending on unit needs
Must be within 1 hour of the facility for call coverage
RTO must be approved by the manager

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
