Oncology RN
Location
- Newark, New Jersey
Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 13 weeks
- 37.5 hours per week
- Day shift: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Specialty Focus
- Adult medical oncology, including GI, GU, breast, head and neck, neuro, thoracic, lymphoma, and leukemia
- GYN oncology
- Classic hematology, including sickle cell, anemia, factor 8, and ITP
- Bone marrow biopsy in clinic
- GYN oncology procedures including paps, biopsy, colposcopy, and pelvic exams
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
- IV Certification
- Experience with Epic
Key Clinical Skills
- Accessing ports
- Central line blood draws
- Neupogen administration
- Hormonal therapy
- Colostomy care
