PCU Travel/Contract Nurse
Location
- Slidell, Louisiana
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Night shift, 3x12 hours: 18:45–07:15
Unit Details
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Average daily census: 36
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
- Unit diagnoses include ICU stepdown, stable new trachs, CEA, intermittent BIPAP, PCIs, and nephrectomies
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic

- First-time travelers are accepted
Additional Job Notes
- Epic experience required
- Scrub color: royal blue
- Candidate may be assigned to emergency response coverage during facility emergency events and must be willing to remain on site or serve as relief as assigned
