Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma
• NBCOT
• 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting

Experience Notes

• New graduates may be considered if they have Level II fieldwork experience rather than only Level I observation experience

Role Summary

• Screens and evaluates patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
• Develops and adjusts plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
• Provides skilled rehabilitation treatment, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Documents treatment, progress, discharge summaries, and required clinical information
• Communicates with the care team, participates in required meetings and trainings, and may supervise occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, or students
