Mammography Tech

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Hillsboro, Oregon
Day shift: 5x8 hours
40 hours per week
Contract length: 16 weeks
Weekend coverage required: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Screening mammography exams only
Expected pace: 2 exams per hour per technologist
Does not float
No on-call
No block schedule
48 hours not approved

Required Qualifications

Valid Mammography Technologist license in Oregon
Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of Mammography Technologist experience
Current state license as applicable to the role
BLS certification
National tech certification verification
State license verification
Education verification
Background check
Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Skills checklist for the applicable unit
Fit mask clearance
Negative TB or chest X-ray
Tdap within 10 years
Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, drug screening, flu documentation, COVID documentation, and respirator clearance as required by the assignment

Notes for Candidates

Government-issued photo ID and Social Security card are required for onboarding
Annual regulatory modules are required
Radiation badge is issued by the facility

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
