Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Waconia, Minnesota
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift, 3x12 hours
• Primary schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with occasional day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Start date: 8/31
• Every third weekend required
• No locals accepted
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
• ENPC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical access experience
• Some Med/Surg experience
• Charge experience

Schedule / Attendance Expectations

• RTO must be approved at time of submission only
• Maximum 1 week of RTO
• Cannot take every holiday off
• Call-outs require more than 24 hours’ notice

Pre-Start Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Emergency contact form
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Drug screen within 1 year of start
• Skills checklist
• Orientation review and verification
• Schedule E form
• Photo for badge
• Background check and required state/facility compliance items
• Immunization/documentation requirements for MMR, hepatitis B, and varicella
• Influenza and COVID vaccination documentation is highly recommended
