Occupational Therapist - Home Health
Overview
- Contract role in White River Junction, Vermont
- Full-time, day shift
- 32 hours per week
- Home care setting
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Vermont
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or completion of a postgraduate Occupational Therapy certification program
Preferred Experience
- Home health experience preferred
Role Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ functional ability
- Provide direct treatments
- Select therapeutic modalities
- Communicate with members of the health care team
- Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives
- Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures
Additional Notes
- Average visit length is over 60 minutes
- Broad independence with support from an interdisciplinary care team
