Overview

• Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
• Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–07:30
• 36 hours per week
• Contract must extend through January 2, 2027
• Float pool assignment with floating to equivalent or lower-acuity units

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• IV start capability
• Telemetry experience
• Ventilator management experience
• Experience with Epic

Responsibilities

• Float to a variety of ICU areas based on staffing and patient acuity
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Background check and Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting
• Emergency contact form
• Employment application
• Skills checklist
• 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager/director or other formal leader
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification
• Physical exam
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Tdap
• MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or signed declination
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate
• Ethics and compliance policies acknowledgement
• Confidential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance reporting form
• Variable schedule attestation for OR is not applicable to this ICU role

• EPIC proficiency is required
• Parking is available for travelers at additional cost
